Matt Chessco's most ambitious art project to date. Something never-before-seen in the NFT ecosystem. 

This is the third artwork of the "Pop Art Wonders" series. 

Matt will create up to 383 physical paintings that will become the frames of a short video animation titled "Crystals". The 383 frames of the video animation will be turned into NFTs that you can mint for free (+ gas fees). 

The mint will start on December 26th, 2023 at 12:30pm EST and will end on January 5th, 2024 at 12pm EST. 

To be eligible for the mint, you will need to own 1 Pop Art Cat, 1 Pop Art Wonder #1 and 1 Pop Art Wonder #2 in your wallet at the moment of the snapshot. The snapshot will be taken on December 26th, 2023 at 12pm EST. 

Once the mint is over, Matt will proceed to create the paintings and the animation. This will take months. 

The images of the NFTs will be revealed in 2024. You will also be able to claim the physical paintings associated with your NFTs.

Who is eligible for the mint?

You will need 1 Pop Art Cat + 1 Pop Art Wonder #1 + 1 Pop Art Wonder #2 to mint 1 NFT. You will need 2 Pop Art Cats + 2 Pop Art Wonders #1 + 2 Pop Art Wonders #2 to mint 2 NFTs. And so on. They will need to be in the same wallet at the moment of the snapshot. 

When is the snapshot?

The snapshot will be taken on December 26th, 2023 at 12pm EST. The mint will start about 30 minutes after. 

How much is the mint?

The mint is free + gas fees. You should expect to pay around $10 USD (in Ethereum) in gas fees for each NFT that you will mint. Gas fees fluctuate a lot depending on Ethereum's on-chain traffic. We suggest that you track the gas fees in real time here and that you mint when they are at their lowest. Gas fees are usually at their lowest between 12am EST and 4am EST. 

How many NFTs are mintable in total?

There will be a maximum of 430 NFTs. 

Where is the mint happening?

A "Mint Now" button will appear on the homepage of mattchessco.com. 

When is the mint?

The mint will open on December 26th, 2023, at around 12:30pm EST and will close on January 5th, 2024, at 12pm EST. 

How will the 430 images be distributed? 

The first person to mint will receive number 1/430, the second person to mint will receive number 2/430, and so on. 

Where will my minted NFTs appear?

They will appear in your wallet. The NFTs will be part of the Pop Art Wonders collection that can be found on OpenSea. 

When will the images be revealed?

The images will be revealed in 2024. Exact date TBD. 

When can I claim the physical paintings associated with my NFTs? 

You will be able to claim the physical paintings associated with your NFTs in 2024. Exact date TBD. 

Will I be able to claim the physical paintings associated with my NFTs for free? 

You will need to pay for the paintings, but we will do everything possible to make the price affordable. 

What will the paintings/NFTs look like?

They will all be different and painted by Matt. They will look different from what you see in the trailer or the images in this page. 

Do I receive the derivatives rights of the NFT?

You are free to use the specific NFT image that you own for commercial purposes up to $50,000 per year. Above that we ask to enter into a more formal licensing agreement. Check the terms of license for more info. 

Can I only mint a few NFTs instead of the maximum I'm eligible for?

You can only mint the maximum NFTs you are eligible for using our minting platform. If you really want to mint less, you can open a ticket on Discord using the channel called "help-ticket". The gas fees are similar whether you mint only a few NFTs or several ones. We highly recommend you mint everything you are eligible for.
